Dr. Dr. phil. Horst Wiesent,
Chairman of the Board
Dr. Horst Wiesent studied administrative sciences at the Federal University of Mannheim and graduated with a Management Degree (FH) (Bologna Level 1). He then worked at the Federal Labour Office, the federal district of Neustadt a. d. Waldnaab and the city of Pegnitz as a civil servant. Most recently in his time as an official, he managed a city hospital as Chairman of the Board.
In 1999, he set up his own business and, together with Anton Kummert and Manfred Vetterl, founded the SeniVita Group.
In 2007, he received the academic title “doctor filozofie” (Doctor of Philosophy, abbreviated to PhD) from the Comenius University in Bratislava. (Bologna Level 2 – comparable to a Masters’ degree).
In 2010, he received his doctorate at the UMIT Private University for Health Sciences, Medical Informatics and Technology in Hall, Faculty of Nursing Science, becoming a Doctor of Philosophy (Bologna Level 3).
Dr. Wiesent was a member of the Board of SeniVita Social Estate AG from February 6, 2015 until 07/29/2016 and joined the Board once again on 07/05/2018. In addition, he is Managing Director of SeniVita GmbH & Co. KG and its subsidiary, SeniVita Sozial gGmbH, as well as the ACASA Group and the CuraVivum Group.
Manfred Vetterl studied Law at Bayreuth University from 1977 to 1982. In 1997, he founded his own law firm which focuses on general civil law, traffic law, family law, tenancy law and long-term care insurance law.
In 1999, together with Dr. Horst Wiesent and Anton Kummert, he founded the SeniVita Group, and is Managing Director of some of the companies in the Group.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Hartmut Koschyk studied History and Political Science at the University of Bonn. In 1978, he joined the CSU and was a member of the German Bundestag (Parliament) from 1990 until 2017. During this time, he was, among other things, Managing Director of the CSU State Group in the German Bundestag below State Group Chairman Peter Ramsauer, member of the Council of Elders of the German Bundestag under Bundestag President Norbert Lammert, Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Minister of Finance Wolfgang Schäuble, Federal Government Commissioner for Ethnic and National Minorities Issues under Chancellor Angela Merkel and President of the German-Korean Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag.
To date, Hartmut Koschyk has been a member of the Bayreuth district parliament and holds numerous honorary positions in the fields of culture, history, political education, social issues and international relations. He is also the publisher and author of numerous books, and has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, the Bavarian Order of Merit, as well as high awards in the Republic of Korea, the Republic of Hungary, the Republic of Romania and the Republic of Austria.
Since 12/19/2018, Mr. Koschyk has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SeniVita Social Estate AG and is appointed until the end of the General Shareholders’ Meeting, which will decide on whether to formally approve the Board’s actions for the 2022 fiscal year.
Dr. Alexander Tesche,
Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board
Dr. Alexander Tesche studied at the University of Cologne from 1977 and graduated in 1986.
From 1986 to 1994, he then worked as Head of Controlling outside Germany for Klöckner Industrieanlagen GmbH in Duisburg. From 1994 to 1999, Dr. Tesche was Head of Corporate Controlling at STRABAG AG in Cologne. From 1999 to 2005, he was Commercial Director of Bayerische Hausbau GmbH in Munich. Since January 2006, Dr. Tesche has been a member of the Executive Board of Ed. Züblin AG in Stuttgart. Since 2015, Dr. Tesche has been a member of the Supervisory Board of SeniVita Social Estate AG and is appointed until the end of the General Shareholders’ Meeting, which will decide on whether to formally approve the Board’s actions for the 2022 fiscal year.
Anton Kummert, tax consultant, managed Gt Gewerbetreuhand Steuerberatungsgsellschaft GmbH in Weiden from 1981 to 2004. He took over the company in 2005 and has continued to manage it since then as Managing Partner of TK Kummert Treuhand GmbH in Weiden and Wernberg-Köblitz, with a total of 15 employees and a Group turnover of approximately EUR 1 million. He also holds various supervisory board mandates. Since February 6, 2015, Mr. Kummert has been a member of the Supervisory Board of SeniVita Social Estate AG and is appointed until the end of the General Shareholders’ Meeting, which will decide on whether formally to approve the Board’s actions for the 2022 fiscal year.
